5/2/2011 · We recovered the wheel with the spindle still in it. So we know without a doubt that it broke. At that time we stopped using drop spindles on our cars. Times have changed and there are truly some well built parts out there these days. I (Jimmy) @ JCL race cars have no aversion to the use of the new dropped spindle that are being made these days.
